MDPL was pleased to learn recently about the record-setting listing price for a historically-designated single-family home in Miami Beach’s Flamingo Park Neighborhood. The listing is currently offered by The Jills Zeder Group

Built in 1936 and designed by noted architect Henry Maloney, the 5,100 square foot home is now on the market for $6.75MM. Maloney was a Deco architect who also designed the Hotel Shelley, The Lafayette, and The Edward Hotel, among others.

The house at 1301 Lenox Avenue is centrally located near beautiful Flamingo Park, on the west side of the park in a historically-designated single-family neighborhood.

The structure was in a period of decline for many years until its current visionary owners purchased it and filed plans for an extensive restoration, renovation, and addition to the structure – a project fully supported and approved by the City of Miami Beach Historic Preservation Board.

From the press release:

“Perfectly tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, this unique home is only steps away from all that South Beach has to offer,” said Jill Hertzberg of The Jills Zeder Group. “It is literally steps to Flamingo Park, the beach, Lincoln Road, South Pointe Park, upscale grocery shopping, and endless entertainment venues.”

The result is nothing short of exquisite.
