TheNightclub at The Bass is a site-specific installation during “Live From Planet Earth”, which uses online webcameras and surveillance devices from around the world and questions how the infinite availability of images and the use of ecological technology triggers a change in spectatorship. Live streamed images obtained from earthcams and continuous 24/7 livecams create an ongoing and immersive loop of geographies. Landscapes from Latin America, the Caribbean, South East Asia and other parts of the world are transferred into a single one night only site-specific exhibition.
