Gather oceanside for an open-air concert featuring The Munir Hossn Band at the Saturday, June 24 installment of Ocean Drive Association’s free weekly music series. Showtime is at 6:00 PM.

Brazilian composer and multi-instrumentalist Munir Hossn hails from Salvador, Bahia with African, European, Middle Eastern, and Brazilian indigenous ancestry. His musical career started at the tender age of 10 and by the time he was 15, he was accompanying Brazilian luminaries like Hermeto Pascoal, Roberto Mendes, Daniela Mercury, Gilberto Gil, and Lenine. Since then, Hossn has been featured on Grammy-nominated albums and has collaborated with renowned artists such as Joe Zawinul Syndicate, Didier Lockwood, Jorge Drexler, Concha Buika, Quincy Jones, Alfredo Rodriguez, Richard Bona, and many more.

Bring a picnic blanket or lawn chair to stake out your seat on the lawn. In the event of rain, the performance will be located in The Betsy Hotel lobby.
