A poetry workshop at Historic Virginia Key Beach Park to express our love for special places and their preservation, utilizing generated poems as letters of advocacy.
In this workshop, participants explore the landscape and history of Virginia Key Beach. Led by writer Dana Wahab, the poetry generated in this experience will be mailed to local commissioners to advocate for its preservation.

Dana Raja Wahab is a Lebanese-American writer, illustrator and educator from Miami, Florida. Her creative work explores place, transience, and the hybridity of identity.
