We’re thrilled to share that a new international event – Open House Miami – is making its debut March 1st and 2nd. After many years of effort, a local coalition has managed to obtain approval from the parent Open House Worldwide to bring this event to Miami and Miami Beach.
Presented by the Miami Center for Architecture and Design with support from the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Miami Beach Visitor and Convention Authority, this unique event will unlock the stories, design, architecture, people, and experiences that define our vibrant city.
Open House Miami is part of a global effort to make cities more open, accessible, and equitable, by providing unique views and perspectives to residents and visitors.
Experience behind-the-scene sneak peeks, tours, performances, and curated experiences all open and free to the public.
The Open House Miami festival allows the public to explore more than 50 culturally, historically, and architecturally significant sites around the city.
If you’d like to experience Open House Miami, registration is now open and spots are limited.
Miami Design Preservation League is pleased to be a marketing partner for the inaugural festival. Executive Director Daniel Ciraldo states, “We’re excited to see this international event finally coming to Miami – it’s a great opportunity for our residents and visitors to explore historic sites and new buildings throughout the diverse neighborhoods of our growing region. We look forward to promoting the event in the years ahead.”
