Ocean Drive Promenade Presents: FIU Latin Jazz
The FIU Latin Jazz Ensemble consists of graduate and undergraduate students and is directed by Dr. Michael Eckroth. This group plays a range of styles of jazz music influenced by Afro-Caribbean rhythmic styles, Cuban folklore, and the many stylistic fusions created in Latin music hot spots such as New York City.
Pack a picnic blanket or lawn chair to stake out your seat on the lawn.
