Ocean Drive Promenade Music Series Presents: Beachside Acapella

Gather oceanside for a Beachside Acapella featuring singing duo Cindy and Ryan Ellis at the Sunday, November 5 installment of the Ocean Drive Promenade Music Series, the Ocean Drive Association’s free weekly music series bringing music outside of the concert hall and into the community. The concert takes place at Lummus Park, between 14th Street and 14th Place. Pack a picnic blanket or lawn chair to stake out your seat on the lawn. Showtime is at 6:00 PM.

Cuban-American vocalist Cindy Ellis has performed with and conducted ensembles in a variety of venues including Carnegie Hall. Ryan Ellis is an accomplished jazz pianist and an award-winning music teacher in Miami-Dade County Public Schools. He is currently the Director of the Choral program at Zelda Glazer/Miami Dade Arts Charter. In his prior job at Ferguson High School, the chorus under his direction performed at Kennedy Center, Chicago, Atlanta, Orlando, and New York’s Carnegie Hall.
