Gather oceanside for an open-air concert featuring multi-talented singer/songwriter Leesa Richards at the Sunday, October 22 installment of the Ocean Drive Promenade Music Series, the Ocean Drive Association’s free weekly music series bringing music outside of the concert hall and into the community.
The concert takes place at Lummus Park, between 14th Street and 14th Place. Pack a picnic blanket or lawn chair to stake out your seat on the lawn. Showtime is at 6:00 PM.
A Detroit native, Leesa Richards started her career as a dancer on a world tour with pop icon Whitney Houston. Soon after, she combined her love for music and dance with the role of Mary Magdalene in the hit Broadway musical, Jesus Christ Superstar. Richards has performed and/or recorded with some of the biggest voices in the music industry such as Barbara Streisand, Lenny Kravitz, Faith Hill, The Bee Gees, Gloria Estefan and Carole King.
