Guitarist and composer Russell Mofsky’s music is a mix of influences, including surfey jazz to cool lounge noir to punk-meets-old time Americana. No two Gold Dust Lounge shows are alike. Mofsky’s music has a cinematic flair and recalls the films of Quentin Tarantino, David Lynch and Ennio Morricone. Gold Dust Lounge’s self-titled album, “Gold Dust Lounge,” was nominated for Best Instrumental Album of 2019 by the Independent Music Awards. JAZZ at MOCA seating starts at 7 p.m. and the concert begins at 8. Registration includes access to the MOCA galleries until 10 p.m. Guests do not need to check-in upon arrival. Seating is first-come first-served, and you may bring your own chairs.
