Marina Fadu Live at the Bandshell

Marina Fadu is Cuban artist Gretell Barreiro’s alter ego… With this offering – a ‘live musical movie,’ – she reimagines Cuban cabaret in a contemporary, experimental mode. A timeless ode to memory, in a scenic and musical language both personal and universal, revisiting times and cultures. Barreiro is joined in this performance by a stellar ensemble of musicians and performers, and amplified with artistic visuals and multimedia. The performance is presented in partnership by Rhythm Foundation and FUNDarte, free to the public through Miami Beach Arts in the Parks. Showtime is approximately 90 minutes.
