Film Screening with a Talk After of “Ain’t No Back to a Merry-Go-Round”

This documentary tells the story of Black and Jewish individuals who united to protest the Glen Echo Amusement Park, which was segregated in the summer of 1960. With never-before seen footage, this film by Emmy-award winning director Ilana Trachtman includes four living protesters who reveal the price and the power of activism. Panelists will be Harold Ford, the president of NAACP Miami South Dade Branch, and Josh Sayles of Greater Miami Jewish Federation. It will be moderated by Matthew Anderson of Mosaic Miami.
