Beyond the Pages: When It’s Cocktail Time in Cuba

Calling all bibliophiles and cocktail enthusiasts to join The Wolfsonian-FIU for a discussion about the book “When It’s Cocktail Time in Cuba”. British playwright and journalist Basil Woon wrote this Prohibition-era portrait of the Havana that attracted waves  American visitors. This reads like a guidebook, a historical account and a social commentary taking readers through the island’s bars, clubs, cocktails and vibrant landscapes. The discussion will be facilitated by chief librarian Frank Luca.
