Join us for our ongoing series highlighting architects who work in historic preservation and resiliency.

Our featured speaker is Jason Hagopian, AIA. President and founder of Neuvio Architects.

Jason will discuss various projects including the Axel Beach Hotel, Rao’s at the St. Moritz Hotel, the Royal Palm Hotel, Citibank at 5th and Jefferson, ALDO on Washington Avenue, among others.

 

About the Speaker

Jason Hagopian is the President and Founder of Neuvio Architects, a multi-disciplinary architecture and design firm located in Fort Lauderdale Florida.

Jason’s leadership extends beyond his executive responsibilities as firm President and includes active participation in the planning, design, and production of projects. His skills as a communicator, problem-solver, and consensus builder have benefitted all those who work with Neuvio Architects.

Under his leadership, Neuvio Architects has produced award-winning projects for Clients such as On Running, Minotti Furniture, Princess Cruises, Citibank, Burger King, Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons, Axel Hotels, Westin, The Biltmore, and Miami Dade County.

Jason has served or is serving on several Associations and Boards including Smart Growth Partnership Board member, the AIA Fort Lauderdale (President-Elect, Design Awards Committee), AIA Florida (Convention Committee member and Membership Task Force), AIA National (Small Firm Exchange State Representative), Miami Center for Architecture and Design (MCAD) Board (President), The Pride Center at Equality Park (Vice President), AIA Miami (Past President, Membership Chair, Christopher Kelly Leadership Development Program Co-Chair), Rensselaer Alumni Association (Vice President, Chapters Committee Chair, DEIB Committee Member), Rensselaer Alumni Association School of Architecture Dean’s Leadership Council, Greater Miami and the Beaches Hotel Association (Allied Upgrade Member and Sustainable Hospitality Council), the City of Miami Beach Design Review Board (Past Chair), and Oakland Park Main Street (President).

Jason is a registered Architect in Florida and California.

He received his Bachelor of Architecture and his Bachelor of Building Sciences from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy NY. Originally from Lexington, MA, Jason has travelled the world studying architecture but calls Fort Lauderdale home.
