This centennial exhibit opens on Nov. 7 at the Coral Gables Museum as a tribute to Celia Cruz (1925–2003), seen through the enduring friendship and photographic collaboration of photographers Alexis Rodríguez-Duarte and Tico Torres. The exhibition includes portraits, backstage moments, never-before-seen images, videos, personal mementos and studio objects and spans fifteen years, from the first meeting with Celia and her husband Pedro Knight in London in 1988 to the final photo session in Paris in2002. It runs through Feb. 21, 2026.
