Saxophonist Rodrigo Padrón Vila and pianist Alfredo Oyagüez Montero will perform this Sunday, Jan. 25, and present a program featuring works by Hua-Ting Kwan, Manuel de Falla, George Gershwin, Astor Piazzolla, John Williams, Dmitri Shostakovich and more. This performance is part of the Ocean Drive Promenade Music Series, a free, weekly concert series presented by the Ocean Drive Association. Bring your own seating and the performance starts at 5 p.m. in Lummus Park between 14th Street and 14th Place. The rainy-day location is inside The Betsy Hotel. Alfredo Oyagüez Montero (piano) is on the faculty of the Palma de Mallorca Conservatory in the Balearic Islands and serves as the Artistic Director of both the Deia International Music Festival and the Palau March Chamber Series. He is currently on a worldwide tour. Rodrigo Padrón Vila (saxophone) is a musician with an international career, trained at the Bordeaux Conservatory.
