“The Big World” Landscapes exhibition launches at the Wolfsonian-FIU

The Wolfsonian-FIU has opened its latest exhibition, The Big World: Alternative Landscapes in the Modern Era. The exhibit focuses on landscapes depicted in the museum’s vast collection – from country scenes to changing vistas of the modern era. The exhibit travels from the 19th century into the first half of the 20th century – as the world grew globally with the rise of the Industrial Revolution and the impacts of war and environmental neglect.

The exhibit is on now through June 2nd, 2024.

The Wolfsonian is located at 1001 Washington Avenue and is open Wednesday – Sunday: 10am-6pm (and Friday to 9pm). Check their website for the latest information: https://www.wolfsonian.org

Admission is free for State of Florida residents. General Admission: $12 / Seniors, students with ID, and children 6-18: $8.
