The City of Miami Beach and The Rhythm Foundation are joining forces for the 7th Annual Youth Music Festival, taking place Saturday, March 11, from 3 to 10:30 pm at the historic Miami Beach Bandshell (7275 Collins Ave).
Celebrating the city’s next generation of musical talent, the festival will spotlight acts on the stage and online, via live stream. Over 50 local youth musicians auditioned online for a spot at the festival. This year’s performers were selected by a panel of city and music industry professionals.
The Miami Beach Rock Ensemble will be headlining the festival, which will feature three stages throughout the event, the Clark D. Burris main stage, an acoustic stage, and a piano bar in Bandshell Park.
The full festival lineup features everything from classic rock, indie singer-songwriters, next-generation jazz, and even a young Beatles cover band.
Festivalgoers can also enjoy the Bass Museum Art tent, the Imagination Playground, food, and other fun activities at the event.
The festival will be live-streamed on MiamiBeach.rocks and other social media platforms. Proceeds and donations will be entirely shared with music programs at participating Miami Beach public schools.
