Papá Cuatro tells an extraordinary immigrant tale of a generation of Venezuelan musicians who were forced to leave their country in hopes of a better future, taking with them centuries of traditions and the joyous sound of an iconic Latin American string instrument: El Cuatro.
5 immigrant virtuosic musicians share their real-life stories on stage and come together to celebrate Venezuelan music, culture and pay tribute to the immigrant experience.

Conceived by Venezuelan-Canadian director Juan Souki (Miami New Drama’s Viva la Parranda), and with singer-songwriter, Mariaca Semprún (Piaf, La Lupe, Latin Grammy 2020); cuatro player, Miguel Siso (Latin Grammy 2018); harpist, Eduardo Betancourt (Latin Grammy 2010); bandola player, Mafer Bandola (LADAMA); and drummer, Adolfo Herrera (Latin Grammy Nominee).
