Second Saturday Seminar: Restoring the Everglades Using GIS
Nicole Strickland, a PhD student at FIU, will talk about our precious Everglades and her research to help restore it. Nicole is conducting research in Everglades National Park to help conserve South Florida’s unique but vulnerable landscape. Come learn what makes our Everglades so unique and what services they provide to South Florida. Nicole will be discussing how changes to the Everglades hydrology effects wetland habitats and aquatic communities.
