Gather oceanside for an open-air concert featuring New Canon Chamber Collective at Ocean Drive Association’s weekly music series on Sunday, June 18. For this free performance in honor of Juneteenth, the New Canon Chamber Collective are performing “Those were the times!”. The concert takes place at Lummus Park, between 14th Street and 14th Place.

The New Canon Chamber Collective is a non-profit, South Florida-based chamber ensemble comprised of outstanding, multicultural musicians. Founded by Portia Dunkley in 2021, the ensemble is committed to social justice by providing an artistic platform that prioritizes building community through classical music and reflecting the rich cultural landscape of South Florida.

Pack a picnic blanket or lawn chair to stake out your seat on the lawn. Showtime is at 6:00 PM. In the event of rain, the concert will take place in The Betsy’s lobby.
