MIAMIBLOCO MONDAYS COMMUNITY WORKSHOP & BATERIA REHEARSAL

Every other Monday from September 19th to November 28th Miamibloco opens its doors to share an experiential taste of Afrobrazilian percussion with our community. Guided by Brian Potts, DMA and occasional guest Mestres, we’ll learn about a specific rhythm and co-create a percussion arrangement within the hour. No experience required to participate, ticket includes instrument rental.

After the workshop, grab a drink and dance to live Samba with the Miamibloco Bateria Rehearsal from 7-9pm. Enjoy a peek behind the scenes as the Bateria works towards the Brazilian Social.

Doors will open at 5:30pm

Tickets will be $5 more at the door. Beverages are available for purchase during the workshop. The Bandshell is an open air covered venue, all programs are rain or shine. Your ticket, once purchased, is non-refundable. Any questions? miamibloco@gmail.com
