Eduardo Abela exhibit — ends May 30

Latin Art Core

Fri, May 30th @ 11:00 am - 5:00 pm EDT

Eduardo Abela is an artist whose work has left an unforgettable legacy in the history of Cuban art. Recognized as one of the exponents of the so-called First Vanguard in the early 20th century, alongside Amelia Pelaez, Victor Manuel, and Carlos Enriquez. His unique style and critical yet poetic approach reflect the social and cultural complexities of his time, addressed with sensitivity and mastery. Latin Art Core presents this exhibition through May 30, in tribute to Isaac and Betty Rudman, honoring their work as collectors in assembling one of the most comprehensive Latin American art collections of the 21st century. This is the first Eduardo Abela exhibition in Miami in 40 years, and it could be considered a retrospective of his career, with paintings spanning from the 1920s to 1964.
