Books & Books and the Books & Books Literary Foundation present an evening with Todd S. Purdum and Carlos Frías, to discuss “Desi Arnaz: The Man Who Invented Television” (Simon & Schuster, $29.99). The book is a biography of Desi Arnaz, the trailblazing Cuban American who brought laughter to millions as Lucille Ball’s beloved husband on the “I Love Lucy” show.
Purdum dives into the groundbreaking Latino artist and businessman known to millions as Ricky Ricardo.
This event will take place at the Books & Books in Coral Gables at 265 Aragon Ave. The paid option includes one copy of “Desi Arnaz”, while the free option grants entry into the event but does not include a copy of the book. Books will also be available for purchase at the event.
