Join Miami Design Preservation League for a educational tour of Art Deco masterpieces in India! We'll begin our travels in Delhi, India's vibrant capital, and continue to Jodhpur, Sardarsamand, Khimsar, Bikaner, Mandawa, Jaipur, Bhratpur, Fatepur Sikri, including a visit to one of the most recognizable buildings in the world: the Taj Mahal in Agra. The tour will conclude in Mumbai (Bombay), a coastal city that, like Miami Beach, witnessed a building boom in the Art Deco style through the 1930s and 40s.
Our tour is organized through Le Passage to India, the second largest destination management company in India, with more than 28 years of experience hosting travel to India. Travelers from the March 2008 tour raved about the quality of the itinerary, local guides, and LPTIs' attention to detail.
The price for this two-week journey is $3, 058 (per person, double occupancy) A single supplement for solo travelers who wish private accommodations is $2,099. (Or we will be happy to try to assist in finding a compatible roommate for solo travelers who don't mind sharing a room.)
International airfare (New York—Mumbai, Delhi—New York) is available through Le Passage to India for approximately $1,400 round trip. You may make your own travel arrangements (using frequent flier miles or other discounts) if you prefer.
